Reardon Named For Hong Kong Sixes
XXXX Gold Queensland Bulls rookie batsman Nathan Reardon has reaped the rewards for a strong off-season with his inclusion in the Australian team for the Hong Kong Sixes tournament next month.
Reardon, one of the stand-outs for the Commonwealth Bank Centre of Excellence squad that toured India and Sri Lanka during the off-season, was named today in the Sixes squad that will play in the famous two-day Hong Kong tournament from October 22.
CBCE coach Tim Nielsen will captain-coach the team that also includes WA chinaman spinner Beau Casson and rookie Redbacks batsman Ken Skewes.
Reardon, a hard-hitting left-hand batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler, is also a fine fielder.
Australia's qualifying matches will be against England, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong, with a final series to be played by the top two teams from each Pool.
