Sal was elected to the Board at an ordinary meeting on 22 February 2011, filling the position left vacant by Jim Holding following his elevation to the chairmanship. Sal was elected deputy chairman when Bryan Phelan opted to remain a CA Director at the August 2011 AGM.

Barry has been the driving force behind cricket in Mackay for more than three decades. He is a foundation member of the Northern Suburbs CC in Mackay, where he spent 1976 to 1995 as either president or vice-president.
Mark is a company director with over 40 years’ experience in leadership roles in both the private and public sectors. He is a former Chief Executive Officer of Queensland Treasury, the Queensland Competition Authority and the Queensland Independent Commission of Audit, and he has also held senior executive roles with Macquarie Group and BDO.
Fiona is a dual Olympian, representing Australia in basketball (1996) and team handball (2000). She has a background as a senior executive in the not-for-profit sector. Her expertise is focused on marketing and corporate relations, as well as education, mentoring and business leadership.
Brisbane-based consultant John Salter joined as a Director in March 2017, filling the vacancy caused by the resignation of former Chairman Jim Holding in February 2017. Mr Salter, who is a director of BT Accord specialising in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, has a long-standing involvement in sport in Brisbane.
Chris Simpson is a former Queensland Bulls captain, who since retirement in 2011 has completed a Masters In Finance from the London Business School and worked in the finance and investment sectors. He is currently Managing Director of Cultivate Agri Partnerships.
Kirsten Pike is a former Queensland Fire and Australian fast-bowler. She played One-Day Internationals and 10 T20 Internationals for Australia and was a member of the Queensland team that won the National T20 Competition in 2014. She is currently a partner a law firm DibbsBarker .
Terry Svenson is a senior executive and Non-Executive Director with extensive business strategy, consumer marketing, and leadership experience across multiple industry sectors. He has been a member of the Brisbane Heat Committee since 2015 and is a former President of Toombul Junior Cricket. Terry is currently Chief Executive Officer at Cerebos Australia and New Zealand, a Food & Beverage Company and a Non-Executive Director at the Brisbane Racing Club.
