Club Information:
Juniors: We cater for BOTH boys and girls aged from 6 to 16. We play under modified rules for U8, U9 & U10 (soft balls and everyone bats, bowls and fields). There are other rule adjustments for U11 & U12 (use a harder ball and each player must bowl a set number of overs). The ACCC Inc. provides all equipment for your child to play cricket and has a compulsory helmet policy for all players. Junior Cricket is played on Saturday mornings from 8.15am to 11.45am from the first Saturday in October to the last week in March excluding the Christmas school holiday break.
Seniors: For the older players over 16 years of age, we are part of the Brisbane Warehouse competition. We play Saturday afternoons in Summer (and Sundays if we have enough players to make up a team), and anyone can play irrespective of ability. We also have teams playing in Winter playing on Saturday afternoon. As at Winter 2008 we had 6 senior teams and 2 junior teams in this competition.
Grounds: We have acquired 3 ovals and have added 2 sets of practice nets. An amenities block with meeting room, canteen and 4 change rooms with toilets and showers is now completed. The first oval was used in 1998 and the newly erected nets are now in use. We are part of the South Pine Sports Complex which has been an initiative of the Pine Rivers Shire Council. We had the second and third ovals operating for the 1999-2000 season. We also use the Wantima Country Club oval for some home matches.
