PUBLIC FACEBOOK PAGE (10 March 2013) VDCC has moved to the next step in the digital age and created a public Facebook page. This will be used for information, photos etc we believe the public will also be interested in. The website will remain, however information may be up quicker on our Facebook page given the ease from hand held devices. SENIOR TROPHY NIGHT/JUNIOR PRIZEGIVING (20/21 April 2013) Senior Trophy Night will be held on Saturday night 20th April and Junior Prizegiving will be on the afternoon of Sunday 21 April. Please put this date in your diaries. Further detals to follow.

HERRING CONDOLENCES (13 February 2013) It is with sadness we hear of the passing of Roger John Oxley HERRING on Monday night. Roger played for the club from 1963 to 1973 as a wicket keeper/batsman, he played 1st Grade from 1963 to 1970. Roger was club's honorary auditor for three decades from 1969 and was awarded the highest honour in the club of Life Membership on 9 August 1978. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Rogers Life at St Augustines Anglican Church, Charlton Street, Hamilton, on Friday, 15th February, 2013, commencing at 2 p.m.

2012/13 EXECUTIVE (10 August 2012) Following last night's AGM, the Executive for the comming year are: Chairman: Pat Culpan, Secretary: Grant Mitchell, Treasurer: Mark Jones, Assistant Secretary: Kevin Tuite, Committee: Jon Stoddart, Michael Dudgeon, Tom Mitchell, Gavin Brown, John Thompson, Luke Feldman, Clinton Kempnich, Richard Anderson, Peter Sherman & David Phillips. Former Chairman Peter Kent has decided to stand down this year after many years on the Executive and then as Treasurer and Chairman. Peter has been a great servant to the club and I am sure we can look forward to still seeing him around the club and pitching in where he can..

PLAYER REGISTRATION - SENIOR & JUNIOR (2 August 2012) Preferred method for registration this year for all players is going to be by self registration on-line with MyCricket. You will now have received an email from MyCricket with details. Please refer to this attached document as a simple step by step guide. Please follow the prompts, login via this page  and register and forget the paperwork. If you have not received an email from MyCricket, it means we do not have your correct email address, if this is the case please email the club Seniors / Juniors Please do not just create a new entry unless you are a new player as this will cause problems. Preferred payment method this year will be by EFT direct to our bank account. Details will be in the email and during login. To reduce costs, payment by credit card will unfortunately incur a small surcharge. A list of player MyCricket rego numbers can also be found at this link. You will know if you have successfully registered when you receive an email/invoice advising of your registration. Purely logging into your records in MyCricket does not register you with the club

VDCC FACEBOOK PAGES (28 July 2012) All players/parents/supporters are encouraged to join our private Facebook groups to keep up to date with the latest news and ground closures during the season, as well as a means of communication. The website pages will also include the same information, however given the ease and availabilty, Facebook will normally be updated earlier than the website, and allows for interaction. Click here for the direct link to seniors / juniors and request to join. ANNUAL TROPHY NIGHT (28 April 2012) Congratulation to 1st Grade Club Champion Matt Petrie announced at tonight's club presentations. A surprise visit by our local member and Premier Campbell Newman who took time out of his busy schedule to spend some time at the club and present Jack Beath a memento for making the Australian U15 Schoolboy team to go to Dubai. SCHOOLBOY REPRESENTATION (10 April 2012) Congratulations to Jack Beath who has been selected in the Australian Under 15 team to tour The United Arab Emirates in October. This follows on from James Hicks who was selected in the same team last year.
