Fixtures 2014-15

Queensland Cricket will host the opening rounds of the new Matador BBQs One Day Cup tournament at the Gabba and Allan Border Field for the first time as part of a mammoth summer of cricket in 2014-15. Between September 2014 and April 2015, Brisbane will feature more than 75 days of top flight cricket.

The Gabba will host the First Commonwealth Bank Test match between number one ranked Australia and India from Thursday 4 Monday 8 December. It will be the first time in 11 years that India has played a Test at the Gabba, with their last appearance in 2003 ending in a rain-affected draw.

India will also play in the sole Carlton Mid One Day International match at the Gabba prior to the ICC World Cup. India, the defending Cricket World Cup champions, will play England in January.

The Australian ODI team will make its only appearance at the Gabba this summer when it takes on Bangladesh in the CWC, one of three World Cup matches at the Gabba in February, 2015.
