Welcome to the official website of Queensland Cricket, the my Foot Dr Queensland Bulls and the Konica Minolta Queensland Fire. The Brisbane Heat are also a part of QC and maintain their own website (brisbaneheat.com.au).

The QC website is 'home' to the enormous Queensland cricketing 'family', encompassing everyone and everything from the Queensland Cricket Board of Directors and the Bulls and Fire, through to grassroots volunteers and the youngest of grade players, and endeavours to answer any and every question imaginable from cricketing enthusiasts and Bulls fans world-wide.

It has been based on the ongoing values and philosophies of Queensland Cricket, which exists for the benefit of cricket and cricketers at all levels.

QC is an operation of more than 100 full-time employees located throughout the State. It is administered by a leadership 'team' headed by Chief Executive Officer Geoff Cockerill under the direction of a seven-person Board of Directors, headed by Jim Holding.

The Board of Queensland Cricket is:

* Michael Kasprowicz is Queensland's elected representative to the Board of Cricket Australia but does not sit on the Queensland Cricket Board under changes to the Memorandum and Articles of Association in 2011.

The Board of Directors of Queensland Cricket is elected by members of the Delegates Council, which comprises all members of the cricketing fraternity. Directors are elected for two-year terms on a rotation basis - five will be required to stand for re-election one year, and four will stand the following year. Bodies that form part of the Delegates Council are:-

  • Queensland Country Cricket Association
  • Queensland Cricket Umpires & Scorers Association
  • Queensland State Primary Schools Cricket Association
  • Queensland Junior Cricket Inc.
  • TAS (The Associated Schools)
  • Warehouse Cricket Association
  • Queensland Sub-Districts Cricket Association
  • Churches Cricket Association
  • The 12 District Grade Cricket Clubs
  • Life Members of Queensland Cricket

Life Members of Queensland Cricket are those who have been recognised for their outstanding contribution to the game in Queensland. It is the highest individual honor bestowed upon a cricketing person in Queensland and sees them become part of the decision-making process of Queensland Cricket.

There are also Associate Members which do not have voting rights but are formally acknowledged as being part of the Queensland Cricket "family"and eligible for assistance from QC. The first body admitted as an associate at the 2003-2004 Annual General Meeting was Queensland Blind Cricket. They were followed by Wanderers Club (Qld) and the Australian Cricket Society (Qld).

Within the QC administration, based at Allan Border Field in Brisbane, there are various different departments.

  • Administration - responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation and the game statewide.
  • Marketing - responsible for the marketing, presentation and promotion of the game, and all major income.
  • Game Development - incorporates cricket from grassroots to elite level, including the representative programs.
  • Finance - oversees all financial procedures, with a focus on administrative grants and insurance statewide.
  • I.T. - responsible for all internal and external communication.
  • QCHQ - responsible for the management, maintenance and operation of the Queensland Cricket Headquarters.

QC endeavours to assist all people associated with cricket at all levels.Many resources are freely available for viewing, printing and download, such as the regulations, the entire Grade Handbook, coaching courses, hints for scorers, and information on development programs.
