Support for new and/or upgrading existing cricket infrastructure and facilities

Federal Government Stronger Communities Program: provides grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 to community organisations and local governments for capital projects. Click here for details.

State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund: allocates funding between $500 and $35,000 to not-for-profit community groups to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities. Click here for details.

State Government Get in the Game – Get Playing Places and Spaces: provides funding of up to $150,000 to assist with the development of places and spaces so that more Queenslanders are encouraged to become involved sport of active recreation. Click here for details. 

State Government Get in the Game – Female Facilities Program: provides funding for up to $500,000 to build or upgrade fit-for-purpose amenities and change room facilities to encourage greater participation in sport and active recreation activities by women and girls. Click here for details.

State Government Get in the Game – Get Playing Plus: provides funding contributions of $200,000 to a maximum of $1.5 million for projects that are new or upgraded places and spaces which increases participation, meets service gaps and addresses community needs for sport and active recreation. Brisbane City Council Building Stronger Communities Grants Program: provides funding to community-based, not-for-profit organisations to deliver projects that develop or improve their facilities, or improve their governance and long term organisational sustainability.  Funding is available for up to $100,000 for Community Facility Maintenance or Development grants. QC Quick Note Building Stronger Communities Grants Program

Brisbane City Council School Sport & Recreation Facility Upgrade Program: is co- funded by Brisbane City Council and the Department of Education and Training. It provides financial assistance between $5,000 and $30,000 to Brisbane state schools to fund the upgrade of existing school sport and recreation facilities to increase community and school use. Support for purchasing sporting and maintenance equipment

Federal Government Stronger Communities Program: provides grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 to community organisations and local governments for capital projects. Click here for details. 

State Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund: allocates funding between $500 and $35,000 to not-for-profit community groups to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities. Click here for details.

Brisbane City Council Lord Mayors Suburban Initiative Fund: supports community projects that build stronger communities in Brisbane with grants between $250 (GST exclusive) and $10,000 (GST exclusive) per organisation. Click here for details. 

Support for cricket participation programs and events

State Government Get in the Game – Get Started Vouchers: assist eligible children and young people with a voucher that provides up to $150 to help with the costs for membership and participation fees.  The vouchers can be redeemed at local sport and active recreation clubs. State Government Get in the Game – Get Going Clubs: provides funding to support loal and regional not-for-profit sport and recreation organisations with a one-off grant of up to $7,500 towards projects that improve club capabilities. Click here for details.
