The My Foot Dr Queensland Bulls have revived their Sheffield Shield campaign with a hefty 173-run win over second-placed South Australia at Adelaide Oval.
Set an unlikely target of 418 for victory, SA were never in the hunt after losing 5-71 prior to lunch, eventually being dismissed for 244 on a good fourth day wicket.
SA, after resuming at 0-29, reached 69 before former Redback Peter George (2-37) made a double breakthrough, dismissing openers Tom Cooper and Mark Cosgrove within three balls.
The key wickets of Travis Head (11) and first innings century-maker Jake Lehmann (14) also fell in quick succession, while a disastrous morning session concluded with Sam Raphael out to the final ball before lunch for 36.
Only some late defiance from Joe Mennie (43) and Chadd Sayers (22) gave the scoreline respectability, before legspinner Mitch Swepson (3-110) mopped up the tail.
The win saw Queensland move from second bottom to third on a congested Shield ladder.
