Jimmy Peirson will start the 2017-18 season as the myFootDr Queensland Bulls number one wicket-keeper across all formats following the retirement of Chris Hartley.
Jimmy made his one-day debut for Queensland during the 2013-14 Matador Cup, coming in as an injury replacement for Hartley, however would have to wait another three seasons before representing the Bulls in the Sheffield Shield.
Now that the position is his, he is keen to take it with both hands.
Peirson has been a mainstay for the Brisbane Heat for the past three seasons where he has enjoyed success at the top of the order.
Away from cricket, he loves fishing, golf and the great outdoors, and is busy planning his wedding!
