The 25-year-old Redlands player made his KFC Big Bash League debut for the Heat in BBL|10 and would play his first game for Queensland should he be chosen in the starting side against Victoria,
Bazley comes into the line-up in place of fellow allrounder Jack Wildermuth who is recovering from a minor quad strain.
Originally from the Sunshine Coast, Bazley was a Queensland rookie contracted player who represented Australia at Under-19 level.
He also played 11 List A matches between 2014 and 2016 when the CA XI was included in Australia's domestic 50-over competition as a seventh team, made up of young players who were not selected by their States.

The right-hand bat and right-arm fast-medium bowler had a top score of 49 not for the Heat this summer and best bowling figures of 2-17.
