Teenage Brisbane Heat and my FootDr Queensland Bulls batsman Max Bryant has reminded his peers of his powerful hitting in emphatic fashion with a blistering century in Round 4 at the 2017-18 Under 19 National Championships in Launceston.

Bryant, who scored two JLT One-Day Cup half-centuries for the CA XI earlier this summer, blasted an unbeaten 125 off 91 deliveries as Queensland defeated South Australia by 10 wickets.

South Australia was dismissed for 202 inside the 45th over, as Tom O’Connell top-scored with 37, before Bryant and Angus Lovell (63 not out) saw Queensland home in the 31st over.

Queensland made up for the surprise final over loss to the Northern Territory as Bryant and Sunshine Coast opener Lovell made the run chase look easy.

Teams will now have a rest day on Saturday, ahead of Round 5 matches in Launceston on Sunday.
