The Bulls have retained batsman Lachlan Pfeffer in the squad after he was a concussion substitute for Matthew Renshaw during last week’s outright win over NSW in Wollongong.
Renshaw was replaced in the team after he suffered a head knock in the warm-ups pre-game.
Under Cricket Australia’s concussion policy, he will need to train and complete follow-up testing as required to play prior to the Final which starts on Friday.
Queensland Cricket Chairman of Selectors Justin Sternes said the squad selection recognised the group of players which had won four out of five games since the competition resumed after the KFC Big Bash League.
“We’ve effectively used the same squad for the second half of the season and their consistency has been rewarded with a chance to play in the Final,’’ he said.
Batsman Joe Burns was a member of the 2011-12 Bulls team that defeated Tasmania at the Gabba while he and allrounder Michael Neser were members of the Queensland team that drew with the Tigers in Hobart the following season to present Tasmania with the title.
