Following on from today’s announcement from State Government, there are two separate restrictions that have been set across Queensland that apply to cricket activities.

Below are the restrictions:

11 South East Queensland LGA’s

  • Lockdown will be lifted from 4pm today (Sunday 8 August) but mask wearing will continue to be required at all times outside your house except when eating/drinking, walking by themselves and strenuous exercise 
  • No community sport to be played for the next two weeks (Sunday, 22nd August 4pm), which includes organised group training.

Cairns & Yarrabah

  • 3 day lockdown (until Wednesday, 11th August 4pm)

Queensland Cricket advises all clubs & associations to adhere to these recommendations and cancel/postpone any cricket that this affects.

Please also keep in mind, that these restrictions are not just placed on facilities within this area, but also members who have been within the hotspot areas throughout the key period of time.

The management of Warehouse Cricket have provided the following update with regards to the 2021 Winter season.

For those teams in 3rd & 4th positions on the ladder, it is NOT possible to play Saturday and Sunday (50 Over) Semi-finals. These semi-finals ARE NOW VOID. (Only the Number 1 & 2 Teams on each Grade Ladder will progress through to the Finals.)


Warehouse Cricket will now program the following:
SATURDAY FINALS: Played over two (2) Saturdays on 28th August & 4th September.
SUNDAY FINALS 50 Over): Played on Sunday, 29th August.
SUNDAY T20 SEMI & FINALS: Played on Sunday, 5th September.


Information on the Summer season (commences on 18th September) will be sent out this week.
