Doggett replaces fellow quick Blake Edwards who suffered a side strain during training this week.

If he plays, it would be his first game since February this year.

The right-arm quick, who toured with the Australian squad to the UAE for the 2018 Pakistan series, has battled back injuries over the past two years but has made a solid return in the Bulls Masters First Grade competition since making his comeback at the start of last month.

Doggett, who is Indigenous, will be on hand tomorrow with the rest of the Bulls 14-man squad to observe the start of NAIDOC week.Players from both teams will form a Barefoot Circle before the match to acknowledge and pay respects to all the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The act also shows a commitment to reconciliation and working together toward a connected country.

Tomorrow’s match also marks the final Shield game for West End Redbacks batsman Callum Ferguson who announced his retirement from first class cricket earlier this week.
