The Fire will face New South Wales in next Saturday's decider in Sydney, with the Breakers into their 23rd straight WNCL Final.

The Fire recorded a resounding eight wicket win over WA who were bowled out for 100 inside 38 overs. Jemma Barsby was the Fire's chief destroyer with figures of 4-11 from eight overs to claim Player of the Match honours.

Beth Mooney then continued her form from the Women's Big Bash League Final, hitting an unbeaten 44 runs as the Fire romped to victory in 16 overs.

The two crucial bonus points meant the Fire went above Tasmania by one point on the WNCL ladder.

With Tasmania then going down to Victoria by 14-runs, it means the Fire are now within reach of a maiden WNCL title and into a rematch of the 2016-17 Final that NSW won by nine wickets.

The Final in Sydney will be the second in the space of two weeks for a majority of the Queensland squad after the Brisbane Heat's WBBL victory over the Sydney Sixers on Australia Day.
