The championships at Casey in Victoria over the weekend saw Queensland Thunder and Lighting men’s and women’s open teams take out their respective grand final, the Queensland Under-22 women’s team win their first ever title, the Queensland men’s Under-22 team make the grand final and the Lord’s Taverners ID side also make the decider.

The Thunder went through the titles undefeated and beat ACT in the Final by two runs in a high-class game that had the big crowd enthralled until the end.

The Lightning won their fourth title in succession, while their Under-22 counterparts were strong throughout to win their inaugural title.

As well as trophies, Queensland was strongly represented in coaching and playing selections for the upcoming World Indoor Cricket Cup.
