The ACIF is a joint initiative between Cricket Australia, QC and the Australian Cricketers’ Association through the Grassroots Cricket Fund that allows clubs to apply for seed funding to help build and improve facilities and grounds.

$1.2 million is available this year to help improve community cricket infrastructure across Queensland.

In 2019 the ACIF provided seed funding for 47 projects across the state, teaming up with the State Government, local Councils and other funding partners to reach a total estimated ACIF Queensland project value of $11.2 million.
