Recently signed Brisbane Heat BBL coach Darren Lehmann and Heat WBBL and Queensland Fire captain Kirby Short will be giving their views on the current state of cricket and no doubt telling tales from years passed when they grace the Queensland Cricketers' Club on Friday May 10.
Emceed by Channel Seven Sports Reporter Pat Welsh, the event will continue the Lords' Taverners tradition of growing and promoting cricket, particularly to the underprivileged and disadvantage.
Short is coming off a season that will be long remembered in Queensland Cricket history after leading the Brisbane Heat to the Women's Big Bash League title and the Queensland Fire to the Women's National Cricket League Final.
Lehmann has recently re-joined the Brisbane Heat as head coach after a five-year stint with the Australian Men's Cricket Team. Before leading Australia, Lehmann won the BBL title with the Heat in 2013 along with Sheffield Shield and one-day championships with the Queensland Bulls.
Individual tickets are available for $110 per person, including two course meal and beverages, or $1,000 for a table of ten.
