After declaring their first innings at 7-404, following centuries to Sam Heazlett, Aryan Jain and Jack Clayton, Queensland dismissed South Australia for 223, despite a century to Jake Lehmann. His ton was timely, with the new father producing triple figures in front of his dad (and now proud grand-father) Darren who is coaching the 2nd XI.

Queensland then chased maxium points, adding to their 181-run first innings with a further 3-232 declared.

Jain produced his second century of the match to stamp himself a potential contender for a first class debut later this season. His 111 not out saw he and Clayton (62) again tame an SA attack that included regular first class and BBL paceman Wes Agar.

At stumps on day 3, South Australia was 3-151 with newly re-sgned Brisbane Heat allrounder James Bazley taking two wickets.
