The Kookaburra One Day competition Final on Sunday is between Valley and defending title holders Sandgate-Redcliffe at Allan Border Field.

Gode, who made his Bulls debut last week, will return from Sydney once Queensland has finished their JLT One Day Cup semi-final commitments tomorrow.

He and keeper/batsman Lachlan Pfeffer have both featured for Queensland in the domestic one-day series so far and will be key performers for Valley.

Sandgate-Redcliffe come into the decider tomorrow after beating University of Queensland and Wests in away finals.

Gators top order batsmen Bryce Street and captain Lachlan Thompson will also have travel plans around the Final, with the pair joining Pfeffer in flying out on Sunday night to Canberra ahead of playing for the Queensland Academy of Sport in the opening round of the Toyota Futures League 2nd XI competition from Monday.

The two finalists will have plenty of opportunity to assess each other’s strengths and weaknesses in the next week, with the two-day premiership draw pitting the clubs against each other tomorrow and next Saturday.

The Men’s Second Grade One Day Final is between University of Queensland against Western Suburbs at WEP Harris Oval.
