This week's tour will include a meeting of QC's Board in Mackay on Tuesday evening where items on the agenda include the development of cricket participation in the Mackay Whitsundays and Central Queensland regions, plus the Great Barrier Reef Arena project.

This will be the first time a board meeting has been held outside of Brisbane and signals QC's commitment to growing cricket in regional Queensland and engaging clubs, government, volunteers and local stakeholders.

QC Chief Executive Officer Terry Svenson and members of the Leadership Team will also meet with cricket and council representatives in Mackay, Rockhampton, Yeppoon and Gladstone to discuss and plan key infrastructure projects and hear firsthand about what is important to community cricket clubs, their achievements and priorities, and to get feedback on how QC can further assist and support.
