Walsh is the sole Queensland representative in the 14-man Australian squad that will travel to India for the World Cup in November.

At January's National Inclusion Championships, he scored 124 runs from four innings, only getting out once to finish the tournament with an average of 124, while also taking two wickets.

The World Cup will feature teams from Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka and will include three pool games and knock-out games.
