Steve Stimpson, Owen and Janet Sperling, and Barry and Heather Richards received Queensland Cricket's Service to Cricket Awards during the Gabba Test between Australia and New Zealand after many years of dedication to cricket.

A 20-year veteran of cricket in the South East Queensland region, Steve Stimpson started his volunteering journey as President of Greenbank Cricket Club and since then has been involved as president of Beaudesert District Cricket Association as well as President of South East Queensland Cricket.

Owen and Janet Sperling have been stalwarts of cricket in Toowoomba and Darling Downs. Owen's contribution has included stints as President of the Toowoomba Cricket Association, President of the Southern District Magpies Club, Director of Coaching of DD/SW, and a Delegate of Queensland Cricket. Whilst Owen has spent many years in coaching roles, his wife Janet provided support and assistance by carrying out a variety of administrative duties along the way, whether that be at club, association or zone level. She is still currently acting as the DD&SWQ secretary.

Barry & Heather Richards have been involved in Home Hill Cricket for 34 years, starting out as regular volunteers as their sons played junior cricket. Their sons graduated from Junior Cricket 25 years ago, yet in the time since they have served in a multitude of roles across all aspects of the club. Now Life Members of Home Hill, Heather & Barry have seen 3 generations of junior cricketers, some now returning as parents.
