The Western Rivers Cup is South West Queensland's only indigenous regional cricket carnival where eight male and six female teams will compete from Friday to Sunday at Captain Cook Reserve in Toowoomba.

The Cup is a joint initiative between Queensland Cricket and the South West Indigenous Network (SWIN), and celebrates indigenous cricket and culture in regional Queensland.

The carnival has grown from a six-team male competition in 2013 to featuring 14 men's and women's teams from Central, South East and South West Queensland in 2018.

The Western Rivers Cup has become a pathway competition, with several players having gone on to represent the Queensland Indigenous Team.

Queensland Cricket is proud to support SWIN, a multi-sport organisation who provide leadership, guidance and support to indigenous communities in South West and South East Queensland.
