Marnus Labuschagne
South-African born batting all-rounder Marnus Labuschagne has developed into one of Queensland and Australia’s mainstays after a breakthrough Ashes series in England in 2019.
Marnus is the leading run scorer in both First-Class and Test Cricket in 2019. Combining handy leg-spin, brilliant fielding and crafty batting, Labuschagne was the second highest run-scorer in the Sheffield Shield in 2017-18 and was a key contributor to the Bulls title winning summer.
He made headlines when December 2014 when selected as a substitute fielder for Australia's Test against India at the Gabba, taking a stunning catch at short leg to dismiss Varun Aaron.
The cricketing world appears to be at the feet of this talented Queenslander.
