Delissa has established herself as one of Australia's leading WT20 allrounders in the past few seasons after starting her career as a fast bowler. Originally from Warwick, she was just 17 when she made her WNCL debut in 2006-07, playing all eight games and taking nine wickets at 18.
Her first taste of international cricket came as a teenager when she made her Australia debut in 2007-08, aged 18, and helped her side come back from 2-1 down to beat New Zealand 3-2 in Lincoln and thus preserve their Rose Bowl record.
She opted for a sabbatical and a break from the game for 12 months in her early twenties to travel and explore career opportunities, and upon her return to the game, began to further develop her batting to make her a fully-fledged allrounder.
In recent years Kimmince has continued to enjoyed success on both a domestic and international level. DK has been an integral part of the Brisbane Heat team who have claimed back-to-back championship titles in WBBL04 + WBBL05. In early 2020 Delissa was also a part of the Australian Women's Cricket Team who won the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in front of 86,000 fans at the MCG.
