Bulls Preseason in Maryborough

The Bulls will take on Tasmania in two pre-season matches at Newtown Oval on 8 & 9 September.

Queensland Cricket is proud to partner with the Fraser Coast Regional Council to bring the Queensland Bulls back to Maryborough for the first time in nearly 30 years.

The Bulls will take on Tasmania in two pre-season matches at Newtown Oval on 8 & 9 September. Beyond the boundary, we’ll connect with the Fraser Coast community through school visits and cricket clinics.

Queensland Cricket's indigenous artwork was collaboratively designed by Queensland Fire player and proud Kunja woman Mikayla Hinkley and Brisbane Indigenous artist, Delores McDonald (“Aunty Delly”).

The centre circle represents the Gabba, alongside other water holes which used to be near the ground. 87 black strokes on red earth represent the wickets taken by Aboriginal great, Eddie Gilbert who played 23 games for Queensland.
