The Queensland Fire has completed a powerful bonus pont victory over Victoria at Peter Burge Oval today to boost their Women's National Cricket League season.

The Fire clinched victory by 165 runs, bowling out Victoria for 98 in 24.2 overs, after they had earlier scored 7-263.
Pace bowler Courtney Sippel clinched a career best 4-15 while Australian T20 allrounder Grace Harris enjoyed her return in Fire colours with a player of the match effort that featured a clean-hitting innings of 63 from 53 balls.
Queensland's innings was well set up by captain Georgia Redmayne (61) while Mikayla Hinkley (48) and allrounder Sianna Ginger (30) produced timely late innings runs.
As well as Sippel, there were two-wicket hauls to pace bowlers Nicola Hancock and Zoe Cookie as well as leg-spinner Grace Parsons.
Former Australian captain Meg Lanning was a stand-out with the bat for Victoria, scoring 51 of their eventual total.
The two teams meet again on Thursday at Peter Burge Oval.
It was Queensland's second win of the season after losing their opeing game.
