Nominations for Community Cricket Awards Now Open!

As the season passes its halfway point, Queensland Cricket is welcoming nominations from the community for this season’s Community Cricket Awards, that seek to recognise the amazing people and initiatives around Queensland. State winners will be put forward to for the national Cricket Australia Community Cricket Awards, to be announced at the end of the season.

This year, Queensland Cricket are thrilled to introduce two new categories, making a total of 15 awards to celebrate the remarkable contributions within our cricket community. The latest additions include the Woolworths Cricket Blast Coordinator of the Year and the Community Facility Project of the Year.

  • Women and Girls Initiative of the Year
  • Community Cricket Club of the Year
  • Community Cricket Association of the Year
  • Inclusion & Diversity Initiative of the Year
  • Indoor Facility of the Year
  • Junior Initiative of the Year
  • Woolworths Cricket Blast Coordinator of the Year
  • Community Match Official of the Year
  • Community Partnership of the Year
  • Community Facility Project of the Year
  • Technology & Media Initiative of the Year
  • Young Leader of the Year
  • Celebrating Cricket in Schools
  • Volunteer of the Year

If your club, association, or organisation has a dedicated member or initiative that has greatly benefited the game in your area during the 2023/24 season, we strongly encourage you to submit a nomination for the awards.

Nominations are now open and will close at 11:59 pm on Wednesday, 14th February 2024. Be sure to submit your nominations through the provided Nomination Form.
