Vikings Salute With Title!

Northern Suburbs have finished their 2023-24 KFC Queensland Premier Cricket season on a high with the Cam Battersby Cup premiership after defeating Ipswich at Allan Border Field.

A full wrap of the all the Finals will be published later this week, with Norths triumphant over minor premiers Ipswich on Saturday, the third day of the scheduled four-day Final.

Former Queensland Under-19 captain Noah McFadyen was a stand-out for Norths, with the 21-year-old seam bowler claimed the Andy Bichel Medal as Player of the Final for his haul of 7/96 from 17.4 overs in the second innings as the Hornets were dismissed for 225.

The Vikings needed just a handful of overs to clinch the victory, with Josh Brown smacking 26 from 11 to ice the premiership for Norths.
