KFC T20 Max Final Set

Valley will chase back-to-back KFC T20 Max titles this afternoon when they take on Redlands in the Final at Allan Border Field.

Another stunning Jack Wildermuth innings propelled Valley into the decider with a strong win over a gallant South Brisbane in the semi-final at Albion last night.

In the other semi-final, Queensland spinner Jack Sinfield held his nerve to hit the winning runs for Redlands against Wests, after Jimmy Peirson (63) and Mac Wright (47) had laid the platform in their pursut of the Bulldogs' total of 9-154.

Wildermuth crunched his second century of the tournament, dashing to 129 from 55 balls, with 12 fours and nine sixes, as Valley (1-200) chased down Souths' total of 6-199.

Souths total was underpinned by some ferocious hitting of their own, with Brandon Faber (74 off 32) and the experienced Ben Cutting (45) launching some mighty shots.

Wildermuth's ton lifted him to top of the runs-scoring list for the tournament, taking him past Toombul's Lachlan Hearne to 463 runs at an average of 115.75.

Young NSW left-armer Ollie Patterson took 3-35 for Wests in their semi-final to top the bowling list with 15 dismissals at an average of 9.73.

The Final today starts at 4.30pm, with free admission.

The game will be covered live and exclusive on 7plus Sport.

Redlands will be led by Test batter Marnus Labuschagne while Valley will be captained by Hugh Weibgen.

Redlands will be able to call on five players with BBL experience while Valley will have three current BBL contracted players.
