Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund Round One 2025/26 Opens!

Queensland’s Round 1 of the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF) for season 2025-26 is officially open today!

The joint initiative between Cricket Australia and Queensland Cricket aims to continue the development and growth of cricket facilities across the state to allow clubs, associations, schools and councils to increase participation, foster community engagement, and enhance the overall cricketing experience in Queensland.

Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund in season 2024/25 saw funding allocated towards a total of 45 projects across the state, with funding spread across two rounds. 75% of successful applicants were for facilities in regional Queensland, aligning with Queensland Cricket’s commitment to regional Queensland.

General Manager of Community Cricket & Infrastructure, Matt Richards said “The ACIF is vital to supporting the cricket community with their infrastructure needs. The fund assists in the delivering change facilities to provide a better experience for participants, as well as field of play lighting to play cricket in non-traditional timeslots, aligning with Queensland Cricket’s Strategic focuses. We look forward to seeing the positive impact of the ACIF once again this season.”

The closing date of the fund will be Friday 31st of October, with successful announcements to be made before the end of the calendar year.
