The Queensland Bulls have welcomed back a quartet of pace aces for this week’s Sheffield Shield clash with Western Australia at the WACA in Perth.
Quicks Back For Bulls
Michael Neser, Xavier Bartlett, Gurinder Sandhu and Tom Whitney all come into the Bulls squad for the Shield match that starts on Tuesday at the WACA.
Bartlett returns to red ball cricket after being part of the Australian ODI and T20I series against India, while Neser comes into the squad after missing the Shield draw with NSW at the Gabba due to workload management.
Sandhu returns from a hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined for the past month, and Whitney is eyeing his initial first-class game of the summer after making a successful return from off-season ankle surgery in last week’s One Day Cup win over NSW.
Test batter Usman Khawaja will miss the game as he recovers from a mild adductor strain, with Angus Lovell coming into the squad.
The match will be streamed live on Kayo, cricket.com.au and the CricketLive app.
