Redlands spinner Jack Sinfield has been named in the Queensland Bulls squad for tomorrow’s Sheffield Shield game at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Spin Boosts Bulls Squad
Sinfield is one of two spinners in the 13-man squad alongside captain Mitch Swepson.
The 22-year-old off-spinner was in action during the week as a net bowler against the English Test squad and if chosen in the starting XI, would play his second first class match of the season.
The second-placed Bulls are without Australia A players Matt Renshaw and Xavier Bartlett while paceman Michael Neser remains with the Australian squad for the Second Ashes Test at the Gabba.
Pace bowler Tom Whitney also comes into the squad after being managed for the last match, Queensland’s exciting outright win over Victoria at the Gabba.
The match will be the last first-class game for the Bulls prior to the Big Bash League break, with the competition to resume in early February.
