Queensland’s Round 2 of the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF) for season 2025-26 is officially open today!
Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund Round Two 2025/26 Opens Today!
The joint initiative between Cricket Australia and Queensland Cricket aims to continue the development and growth of cricket facilities across the state to allow clubs, associations, schools and councils to increase participation, foster community engagement, and enhance the overall cricketing experience in Queensland.
Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund in season 2025/26 saw funding allocated towards a total of 18 projects across the state. 72% of successful applicants were for facilities in regional Queensland, aligning with Queensland Cricket’s commitment to regional Queensland.
General Manager of Community Cricket & Infrastructure, Grant Mitchell said “The ACIF provides the cricket community with an opportunity to access funding to support the delivery of vital cricket infrastructure. Through supporting lighting, change facility and synthetic pitch and practice facility projects, as we have seen in round 1 2025/26, the fund aligns directly with Queensland Cricket’s Strategic focuses.”
The closing date of the fund will be Friday 27th of March 2026, with successful announcements to be made before the end of the calendar year.
