Leading Queensland batter Jack Clayton has earned a late call-up to take on the touring Bangladesh team in Darwin as part of a CA XI tour game.

The dependable left-hander comes into the squad for Tom Rogers who is unavailable after landing a deal in the Lankan Premier League.
Clayton will link with the squad today ahead of the three-day clash against Bangladesh at Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin where the tourists are preparing for the First Test against Australia next week.
The 27-year-old has been one of the Bulls' leading runs-scorers over the past three seasons, including last summer when a knee injury reduced his season to just seven games.
He scored a memorable century for Queensland in the 2024-25 Sheffield Shield Final against South Australia in Adelaide when he and Jack Wildermuth produced a remarkable second innings resurrection to momentarily check the home team's charge to the title.
