Day/Nighter Looms For Qld

Leg-spinner Mitch Swepson takes over as captain with regular Bulls skipper Marnus Labuschagne on Test duties in South Africa along with Queensland teammates Matt Renshaw and Michael Neser.

Queensland lost a pair of high-scoring matches last month at Allan Border Field to open their Dean Jones Cup campaign.

Paceman Tom Whitney comes into the squad for the first time this season while batter Lachlan Hearne, who missed the last List A match due to a knee injury, is back in the squad.

If chosen in the starting side, paceman Jem Ryan would make his List A debut for the Bulls.
