Purpose
Queensland Cricket State Challenges represent talent identification opportunities as part of the Australian Cricket Pathway. Each competition blends talent identification opportunities while also providing an experience that shapes each player's future development and love for the game.
Intent
State Challenges provide players and coaches with the opportunity to showcase their ability, perform under pressure and develop new skills both on and off the field. Selected players may be identified for inclusion in Queensland Cricket’s Youth Winter Training Programs, forming the first phase of the State Youth program.
