All-rounder
Hugh Weibgen is a right-handed batter and off-spin bowler from Brisbane who captained Australia to victory at the 2024 ICC Under-19 World Cup in South Africa. His leadership and batting performances, including a century against England, earned him a place in the ICC's Team of the Tournament. A product of Valley District Cricket Club, Weibgen progressed through Queensland's junior ranks and was awarded a rookie contract with the Queensland Bulls in 2023. Despite injury setbacks delaying his first-class debut, he gained experience in the Big Bash League, playing six matches for the Sydney Thunder during the 2024–25 season.

Queensland Cricket's indigenous artwork was collaboratively designed by Queensland Fire player and proud Kunja woman Mikayla Hinkley and Brisbane Indigenous artist, Delores McDonald (“Aunty Delly”).
The centre circle represents the Gabba, alongside other water holes which used to be near the ground. 87 black strokes on red earth represent the wickets taken by Aboriginal great, Eddie Gilbert who played 23 games for Queensland.
