Mitchell Swepson is a right-arm leg-spinner from Brisbane who has been a key figure in Queensland's bowling attack since his first-class debut in 2015. Known for his sharp turn and attacking mindset, he has taken over 250 first-class wickets, including six five-wicket hauls and a hat-trick in the 2019–20 Sheffield Shield season. Swepson made his Test debut for Australia in March 2022 against Pakistan, and has also represented the national team in ODIs and T20Is. In the 2020–21 Sheffield Shield season, he played a pivotal role in Queensland's championship win, claiming 32 wickets at an average of 23.14.
