State Grant Opportunities

Minor Infrastructure and Inclusive Facilities Fund (MIIFF)

  • Inclusive and accessible - $30 million for new and upgraded changerooms and amenities that meet universal design principals or
  • Safe quality and efficient - $15 million for new, upgraded and end-of-life field of play and ancillary facilities to meet activity requirements at a community level.

Round 2 opens 27/09/2023 and closes 16/11/2023.

RACQ Foundation – Community Grants Program

If you are a Queensland sporting club/organisation, community group, charity or an organisation with a charitable purpose and have been impacted by severe weather events, natural disaster or drought you can apply now for a Community Grant with RACQ Foundation.

  • FY24 Round 1 – Open from Tuesday, 7 February 2023 – Closes at 5pm on Monday, 2 October 2023
  • FY24 Round 2 – Open from Tuesday, 3 October 2023 – Closes at 5pm on Friday, 23 February 2024

Brisbane City Council - Lord Mayor’s Better Suburbs Grants Guidelines - Community Facility Category

The Community Facility Category aims to deliver outcomes in alignment with Brisbane Vision 2031, which plans for the future of the city. There are two options for funding:  

  • Option 1 – Planning and design for a proposed Community Facility improvement or development project
  • Option 2 – The construction phase of a Community Facility improvement, development or maintenance project.

The centre circle represents the Gabba, alongside other water holes which used to be near the ground. 87 black strokes on red earth represent the wickets taken by Aboriginal great, Eddie Gilbert who played 23 games for Queensland.
