Queensland Cricket has named its opening State squad of the summer ahead of next week’s Toyota 2nd XI clash against South Australia at Fehlberg Park.
Qld Set For 2nd XI
The Queensland 2nd XI will be captained by Bulls batsman Jack Clayton (pictured above) and includes fellow State contracted players James Bazley, Max Bryant, Hugo Burdon, Blake Edwards, Liam Guthrie, Aryan Jain, Jack Sinfield, Bryce Street, Mitchell Swepson and Jack Wildermuth.
Redlands wicket-keeper Leigh Drennan will take the gloves for the four-day match, which starts on Monday.
Burdon comes into the line-up after being the joint leading runs-scorer in the KFC T20 Max competition.
