in the other semi-final, Valley's unbeaten run came to an abrupt end at the hands of fourth-placed Wynnum-Manly with former Australian player Elyse Villani top-scoring with 92 from 55 balls and Laura Harris crashing 35 from 17 balls.
Valley lost early wickets at the hands of Villani's Hobart Hurricanes teammate Hayley Silver-Holmes and were unable to sustain partnerships as the asking run-rate climbed rapidly.
