Tom Straker is a right-arm fast-medium bowler from Caringbah, New South Wales, who joined the Queensland Bulls on a rookie contract ahead of the 2024–25 season. He gained prominence during the 2024 ICC Under-19 World Cup, where he delivered a match-winning 6/24 in the semi-final against Pakistan—setting a new record for the best bowling figures in a U19 World Cup semi-final or final. Straker made his first-class debut for Queensland in October 2024 and has since taken 12 wickets in five matches.
