Player Story

Callum Vidler is a right-arm fast bowler from Brisbane who joined the Queensland Bulls on a full contract ahead of the 2024–25 season. A product of Valley District Cricket Club, he rose through the ranks of Queensland cricket and starred for Australia at the 2024 ICC Under-19 World Cup, taking 14 wickets to help secure the title. Vidler made his first-class debut for Queensland in March 2024 and impressed with 12 wickets in his first three matches, including a standout 4/33 in the Sheffield Shield final against South Australia. Known for his raw pace, regularly clocking over 150 km/h, he has quickly become one of the most exciting young fast bowlers in the country.
